About Poi Jakosalem

Poi Jakosalem is a makeup artist from Manila, Philippines. She has been in the industry since 2012. She initially did hair and makeup for advertising campaigns but has dedicated her craft to weddings since 2018.

In 2012, at the young age of 20, Poi enrolled in formal training in makeup artistry at the Center for Aesthetic studies in Makati. She juggled makeup school and a degree in Multimedia Arts at the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. She successfully graduated in both schools and decided to pursue a career in makeup artistry.

In 2019, She studied in the prestigious Make Up For Ever Academy in New York City. There she studied advanced courses and techniques and secured certificates in both Bridal and Editorial makeup.

Conveniently situated in the south of Metro Manila, Poi has become one of the go-to makeup artist for Tagaytay weddings.

Her team caters to both Metro Manila and Tagaytay weddings with no added transportation fees.
